October 1-3, 2019 in Montrose, Colorado TEI Rock Drills hosted guests and friends from all over the globe at their 2019 Annual Open House.
The event began on October 1, with a welcome reception complete with cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres from Mountain Rose Catering at the Holiday Inn Express Jordan Room.
Our first full day of Open House started with opening remarks from Sue Frank, President/CEO of TEI Rock Dills and a tour of the TEI Facility from Mike Lobato. Billy Aller, North American Sales Manager presented a thorough overview of the TEI Product Line and Glenn Patterson, International Sales Manager presented jobs TEI Rock Drills were used on in the past year. Frank Moore, Craig Berninger, Jeff Calow and Brian Kassel from the TEI Sales Team reported on jobs using TEI Rock Drills across the United States and Canada and the morning ended with Chief Engineer, Luke Zamoyski presenting on the Angle Indicator. Our guests enjoyed lunch catered by The Stone House while they networked and got to know each other. The afternoon was filled with TEI Rock Drills Equipment Demonstrations of the HEM760 Excavator Attachment, the new TE760 Hydraulic Drifter, DS10851 Dust Suppression System and the Excavator with HCC10X Tooling Handler. We wrapped up with a Fiesta Party at Fiesta Guadalajara for dinner that evening.
The second day of Open House began with Presentations from; Eberhard Heinzeman with GSS Titan – Panama/Central America, Michael Cantarella – American Equipment Leasing giving resources on financing options for purchasing TEI Equipment, Aaron Mast with Axis Stabilization, Ignacio Flores with Berma, Glenn Patterson explaining TEI Feed Systems, Phil Howell with Jones Excavating and Kevin Sharp with Western Equipment Solutions sharing their expertise in their fields. We enjoyed a catered lunch then guests choices for the afternoon included being able to operate any TEI equipment with the TEI technicians, touring the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park or relaxing at Storm King Distilling Co. for a tasting of the adult beverages they distill and handcraft in Montrose! The final day ended with a delicious meal at Remington’s at the Bridges Country Club with stunning views of the San Juan Mountains, delicious dinner and dancing.
The 2020 Annual TEI Open House is scheduled for September 1 – 3, to correlate with our 40th Anniversary Celebration and we can’t wait!
