Retirement of TEI’s -Glenn Patterson-

Glenn Patterson retired from TEI Rock Drills in May of 2023 after more than 34 years serving as leadership within the company. Glenn’s commitment to our customers and the improvement and expansion of our product line have left a mark through the global micropile industry.

Glenn started his career in the TEI Machine Shop, worked as Director of Engineering, and finished his career as VP/International Sales Manager.

His influence extended internationally as TEI strategically expanded its products and markets. Glenn worked closely with CEO Sue Frank and their father Bill to expand TEI into the global leader in drilling attachments and limited access rigs it is today.

Glenn was a member and participated in the Association of Drilled Shaft Contracts/International Association of Foundation Drills (ADSC-IAFD), Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), and International Society of Explosive Engineers (ISEE). Glenn also participated in our industry trade shows, events, and schools.

“Throughout his career Glenn has inspired many of us – employees, customers, vendors, trade groups, and competitors alike – and could always be counted on for his industry knowledge, vision, professionalism, sales acumen, and friendship,” said CEO Sue Frank.

As Glenn returns to his love of music, TEI wishes Glenn and his wife Debby all the best.
